Hi From Rent Hello

    Bringing Spring In!

With flowers and spring popping up all around, I know it’s hard for me to not want to take those splashes of spring color and bring them inside to brighten up my bedroom or desk.

Fresh flowers are such an easy way to add the springtime touch to any space and they make slaving away at old desk a little more pleasant, especially when the spring fever hits and the sun is beckoning outside.

Now, some fresh flower can be pricey, particularly the huge bouquets with exotic flowers. However, certain varieties, such as tulips, daisy and mums, can be relatively inexpensive and will give you more bang for your buck.

By placing individual tulips in glass jars along a window ledge, color and fun are instantly added to the space by keeping in simple and budget friendly. Empty and cleaned glass beer bottles would work as well, and who doesn’t want to have to drink some beers for a décor project? This idea works best with simple bouquets of a single flower.

But perhaps one of those larger bouquets with all sorts of flowers has caught your eye. By splitting the arrangement into a few smaller arrangements and sprinkling those around your home, you can makes that more expensive flower purchase much more money conscious decision.

Using mason jars capped with chicken wire, such that the chicken wire creates a grid across the jars opening, and flowers can be arranged among the holes in the chicken wire, which allows for easy the flower arranging. Or, with any vase, clear tape can be used to create a grid and then the flowers can be arranged within the tape made grid.

Now for those who don’t want to deal with the constant hassle of fresh flowers, paper flowers or plastic flowers work just as well and are much lower maintenance. This makes faux flowers a great alternative to fresh flowers, especially for those people who have a tendency to kill living plants simply by looking at them. Likewise, this is also a great idea for allergy sufferers who still want to have the some bright spring flowers without the itchy eyes and runny nose.
